The United States Association of Consecrated Virgins' Candidate Discussion Group (CDG) is an opportunity for discussion for aspirants and candidates of the Ordo virginum. Sponsored by the USACV, the CDG is designed to be a supplement (not a substitute) for diocesan-based formation programs for consecration in the Ordo Virginum.
The CDG meets online quarterly for one hour to hear presentations and engage in guided discussion regarding aspects of the life of consecrated virginity.
Who is invited to participate?
1) Ordo virginum aspirants or candidates who meet the following criteria:
- They have been accepted for formation in their local diocese
- They have previously attended the USACV Information Conference either live or on-demand
2) Diocesan delegates for the Ordo virginum
3) Consecrated virgins
